Samsung Galaxy F55 5G Gaming Performance Review – Is it Good for Game like BGMI?

I have been testing out the Samsung Galaxy F55 5g for a few days now and wanted to share my thoughts on how it handles gaming. Recently samsung launch this F55, so I’ve played some heavy games like BGMI to get a feel for its capabilities. If you prefer samsung brand and want to play pubg or bgmi u der 30k, galaxy F55 is best choice 

Its Current Price is 24,999 after applying all offers. 

Hardware: Which directly impact gaming performance:

Speakers:

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5g has dual speakers. The sound is clear and perfect for gaming even if you don’t have earbuds handy, especially for games like TDM.

Network – VoNR 5G: 13 Bands

Excellent network connectivity and 5G compatibility, including 5G VoNR for seamless calling without switching to 4G.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5g comes with Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, almost 400 ppi density and Gorilla Glass 5, great combination gives smooth UI experience and also samsungs has superb display.

So display of samsung galaxy F55 5g will give enjoyable visual during gaming.

Peak Brightness:

F55 comes with 1000 nits peak brightness not the brightest one but its ok, allows gaming even in sunlight or outdoor. which help to enhance your gaming performance in bright places. 

Samsung F55 IP Rating:

IP67 dust/water resistance is reassuring but don’t intentionally test it into the water as it doesn’t cover in warranty. 

F55 Weight: 

Samsung has 202g weight, it’s slightly heavier than ideal for long gaming sessions. But weight distribution is good. I haven’t feel any pain in my hand after 1 hr. But it can be happen after 2hrs of continue gaming.

  • The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is good for everyday tasks and even some gaming.
  • It works smootly with samsung f55 OneUI. I haven’t feel any lag. 
  • But takes time after clicking photos or during opening camera but negligible. 
  • See BGMI section to understand how it performs under pressure when I played BGMI. 

RAM:

  • F55 5g has LPDDR4X RAM offers smooth multitasking and app switching.
  • Under 30000 almost every brands gives this type of ram. 
  • It terms of Ram quality samsung F55 has decent and it works fine. 

Samsung F55 5g Storage Type: 

  • The Samsung Galaxy F55 5g has UFS 3.1 Storage type and happy to see under this price.
  • With UFS 3.1, file transfer, copy paste, also downloading and taking files from other devices through nearby share, these tasks are done faster.

Good storage type gives better gaming performance or increase its performance.

Galaxy F55 GPU:

  • The Adreno 644 (it should be 710) is decent.
  • Graphics looks good but compare to other it looks smooth rather than sharp.

CPU Throttling: Samsung F55 throttle to 81% of its peak performance which is good, indicating minimal throttling under load.

  • This is an amazing upgrade for a Samsung phone lovers. 
  • I have played 1hr 30min BGMI (PUBG) smooth plus Extreme. Battery drop is 16℅ which is good. 

Gameplay: 

  • BGMI, PUBG, Free Fire, COD, etc. will run easily at higher graphics with 60FPS.
  • I consistently got 58-60 FPS during TDM.
  • During Bootcamp or hot drops, there might be slight fluctuations to around 55 FPS, but it quickly recovers.
  • One of the best samsung phone for BGMI at this price. Gyroscope also Works smoothly.

Battery and Charging

  • Battery has major role for every gamers.
  • It comes with a 5000mAh battery.
  • You can play more than 4 hours (battery backup during bgmi) non stop, any games and any heavy task.
  • Normal day to day life can stand one day easily.
  • It comes with 45W charging support which is not available in the box.
  • Samsung Galaxy F55 5g can charge 0 to 100 only in 50 to 60 minutes, which is great. This fast charging speed will give a boost in game Performance

Conclusion:

Should you buy it?

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5g offers a solid mid-range gaming experience. Its display, battery, storage, Performance and the ability to run BGMI on smooth graphic settings at 60FPS are impressive under 30k.

If you’re primarily looking for a great camera, big battery and decent gaming capability, this could be a good choice during sales.

But If you’re purely into competitive gaming, there might be better options focused specifically on performance like Motorola Edge 50 Pro which have good gaming performance.

Realme P1 is one of the best phone under 15000 to 16000 rupees and oneplusoneplus which have better specs and higher gaming performance scores.
