In this blog I am sharing my review, thoughts on Samsung Galaxy A55 Gaming Performance.
I have use this phone for couple of days, played heavy multiple time games, like BGMI, PUBG, etc. watched many youtubers videos to make a conclusion on this phone. So read all the blog before buying this phone as per your requirement.
Hardware Review as per Gaming Performance Requirement:-
Speaker
- Samsung Galaxy A55 has dual speaker, It sounds clear and can understand easily.
- Also it will help in gaming if you haven’t earphones or earbuds.
- With this speaker you can play TDM and also classic games (for fun), as honestly no one want to play without earphone/earbuds.
5g VoNR
- Samsung Galaxy A55 comes with good network connectivity coverage and it has 5G compatibility.
- It Comes with 5G VoNR . VoNR simply for calling features, as now days without VoNR you can’t call to anyone with 5G network, if you are using 5G you can see whenever anyone call you your network automatically convert into 4G, and this also frustrating while playing games.
- So, I can say if you have good network coverage device will not disappoint you.
- So 5G VoNR will enhance samsung galaxy A55 gaming performance.
Display
- It comes with super Amoled display with 120Hz refresh rate. And also Samsung has one of the best display, but we aren’t buying only for display.
- We need better graphics hardware, so we can play any game with high settings.
Peak Brightness
- Samsung A55 comes with 1000 peak brightness so you will not disappoint with brightness.
- We can play games and do other things at outdoors easily.
- So Peak brightness will help to give better visibility and enhance your Samsung Galaxy A55 gaming performnce.
Ip67 Rating
- Samsung galaxy A55 comes with IP67 rating that is it water proof device upto 1m, which good at this price.
- But don’t try it as if your device got any problem due to water you will not get any warranty benefits.
Weight 213g
- Samsung galaxy A55 comes with 213g weight, Honestly gammers are not like any smartphone greater than 200g, as it is heavier side, after some games you finger have start pain, and so personally I don’t like heavy smartphones.
- As when I am playing for half hour I didn’t t feel anything but after that I am getting pain in my hand not too much.
- In weight of view i can say it will hard to hold during gaming and hence it will reduce Samsung galaxy A55 gaming performance.
Processor Exynos 1480
Samsung galaxy A55 comes with Exynos 1480 4nm.
Honestly Exynos processor are not good for heavy gaming.
RAM – LPDDR-5
- Samsung galaxy A55 has LPDDR5 RAM, which is quite good it helps to work fast during heavy use, app opening, background app opening , User Interface and much more.
- This RAM helpful to play normal games.
- So RAM will perform good for Samsung Galaxy A55 Gaming Performance.
Storage – UFS 3.1
- Samsung Galaxy A55 has UFS 3.1 Storage, this is pretty good.
- So file transfer, copy paste, also downloading and taking files from other devices through nearby share these type of work need good storage type.
BGMI setting
- With this processor, samsang A55 has smooth + High, balance + High and HD + High, all have High frame rate setting available only.
- It means you will play games at 30FPS only.
- Now days many smartphone giving 90FPS and all smartphone comes with 60FPS is normally.
- So this is too much disappointed me.
- Gyroscope works good.
- And may be extreme option will available after some update as this is a new processor.
After Update (Edited August)
- As I told you, This phone will get update and support higher frame rate.
- Now it supports Smooth+Extreme (60fps).
- Although 60fps but it doesn’t mean that it targets for heavy gamers, this phone for casual gaming not for heavy keep in mind.
Hardware Scores for Samsung galaxy A55 gaming performance –
- Antutu score 723950
- Single core score 1012
- Multi core score 3332
- No throttling issues
- This is nice score but not for heavy gaming smartphone score.
- When I played BGMI there is only high frame rate (30FPS) option only it looks like I am playing bgmi 5 years ago.
- No smooth game play. Also there is some frame drop.
- Now days gaming smartphone needs more than 1M Antutu scores.
- It will Works good for casual game like Subway surfers and candy crus like that.
Battery
- Battery has major role for every gamers.
- It comes with 5000mah battery you can play 4hrs non stop any games and any heavy task.
- Normal day to day life can stand one day easily.
- It comes with 25w charging support, normally ok. But it has to be more than 50W as now days every phone comes at this charging speed.
- For gaming we need fast charging speed.
Conclusion
- If you’re a gamer and want a gaming phone, this phone is not for you. You will regret after purchasing this.
- iQOO Neo 9 Pro is one of the best mid range phone now days for gamers.
- I also not recommende it for casual or normal gaming of BGMI, because at this price there are many smartphones available.
- You can buy if you want good looking phone, decent camera, for multimedia and for normal uses, day to day task, etc
