Are you considering the Samsung Phones under 20,000 rupees? Samsung Galaxy A15 5g might be your good option. After 30 days of use I can say, this budget-friendly phone offers a surprising number of features, decent camera, performance and some disappointing aspects. I recently picked one up and wanted to share my hands-on experience to help you decide if it’s right for you.
Samsung A15 Build and Design

The first thing I notice about the Galaxy A15 5g is its modern, boxy design. It’s a trend we’re seeing across many new smartphones, and Samsung follow this from its top model lower and I personally like it. This phone feels comfortable in the hand, thanks to its well-balanced weight 200g and smooth 6.5-inch screen.
Side mounted fingerprint which works fast. But now days maximum phones have in display fingerprint.
Samsung galaxy A15 5g – Display
Samsung galaxy A15 5g comes with Super AMOLED display with full HD quality and a 90Hz refresh rate. Everything from scrolling websites to playing videos looks good and give smooth UI experience. Refresh rate is not adaptive to help with battery life, in this you can only choose between a consistent 60Hz or the super-smooth 90Hz.
Samsung A15 has thick bezels and water drop notch which looks old type at this price. But the quality of display really great, its video playing color and also good viewing angle.
It give high quality content viewing experience on Netflix has HD 1080P, Prime video has Full HD and on YouTube has 1440P 60fps support there is no HDR support.
Samsung A15 Performance

I was really surprised by the performance of the Galaxy A15. The MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus 6nm processor with LPDDR4X & UFS 2.2. It gives Antutu Score 389730 which is too low for this it should me at least above 4 lakh.
Firstly when I received it gives some lag during app opening, But after software update and using it for few days, it works smoothly. And now I can say it handles everyday tasks with ease, and low graphics games run well at high settings like Asphalt, candy crush, subway surfer. More impressive is that it does all this without getting too hot.
And also it is not a performance centric phone. BGMI and COD runs with lower graphics setting at high frame rate (40FPS ) only and its runs smoothly without lag I mean, it gives 100% what it said. I have made a full detailed gaming performance review on Samsung A15 you can check it.
Samsung galaxy A15 5g Battery Performance

Samsung Galaxy A15 comes with 6000 mAh battery and supports 25W charger which is not available in box. It take 1hr 30min to full charge from 0 to 100.
With average use, you can expect a full day on a single charge. I have tasted it YouTube video for 6hr at 1440P it drains only 36%. Its really good battery backup.
Samsung A15 Camera Capabilities

The Galaxy A15 has a 3 set of Rare cameras which makes more valuable for the price.
The main 50 megapixel rear camera takes decent photos with good color, and detail. It can record Full HD (1080p) at 60fps.
There’s an 5 MP ultrawide lens which take decent photos, its lower resolution means it doesn’t shine as brightly and 2 megapixel macro lens which is not so useful.
The 13 megapixel front facing camera is good for selfies, it give natural and beauty photos as well, so girls will also like this phone. So if anyone wants to gift this to your sister on Raksha Bandhan or to Girlfriend (GF) this will be good choice.
I’m a bit disappointed that the A15 doesn’t support 4K video recording, but if this isn’t a deal-breaker, the camera system is perfectly capable for everyday use. It even has some fun features like night mode, macro mode, beauty, and slow motion.
Software and Updates
One of the most compelling features of the Galaxy A15 is its software. It runs on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI interface. It’s clean, user-friendly, and offers useful features.
Samsung is promising an impressive 4 years of Android updates. That means you will get upto Android 17 updates as well. That’s a level of software support that’s uncommon in budget phones.
Should You Buy It?
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A15 is an excellent value for its price. Here’s a quick breakdown of the pros and cons:
Pros
- Sleek, modern design
- Smooth and bright display
- Snappy performance

Cons
