Here I am sharing my review and thoughts on the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion’s gaming performance. I have played heavy games multiple times, such as BGMI, PUBG, COD etc., So, read the entire blog before buying this phone according to your requirements.
Recently Motorola announced to launch Motorola Edge 50 fusion in india 16th May with the price of 22,999 rupees and after applying discount offer you can get it at 20,999 rupees. And I got this for review.

- The CPU is throttled to 87% of its maximum performance, which is good. So, the motorola Edge 50 Fusion doesn’t have significant throttling issues.
- This processor is good for daily tasks, multimedia, and heavy gaming.
- Gaming smartphones typically need more than a 7,00,000 Antutu score for smooth gameplay at balanced settings, but surprisingly Edge 50 Fusion performs decent and gives better performance as I expected.
- Even when I played BGMI at higher settings, it maintained a mostly consistent 60fps, with some occasional fluctuations.
RAM
- The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has LPDDR4X RAM, which is quite good.
- It helps with multitasking, app opening, background app opening, user interface, and more.
- This RAM is helpful for playing normal to heavy games.
- So, Lpddr5 RAM gives good performance with Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

- It has UFS 2.2 storage, which is a bit disappointing as other brands offer UFS 2.3 at this price.
- File transfer, copy-paste, app opening, downloading, and transferring files from other devices through Nearby Share work at an average speed on the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

Gameplay:
- After playing many games, I realized that it does not consistently provide 60fps.
- Specially while jumping, where it can go below 50fps. Normally, it gives 55 to 60 fps smoothly.
- I consistently got 58-60 FPS during TDM.
- I have played 1hr 30min BGMI (PUBG) smooth plus Extreme. Battery drop is 18℅ which is ok.
Battery and Charging
- The battery plays a major role for every gamer.
- It comes with a 5000 mAh battery.
- You can play more than 5.5 hours non stop, any games and any heavy task.
- Normal day to day life can stand one day easily.
- It comes with 68W charging support, and can charge 0 to 50 only in 15 min which is great.

I recommend this if you have 20,000, you must checkout edge 50 fusion.
Above this price range you can get phones which have more than 10 lakh antutu scores and some have 90fps support with games like iQOO Neo 9 Pro, Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Nothing phone 2 are the best mid range performance centric phones now days for gamers.
At this price, there are some phones that offer higher specs and hardware.
