I have tested The ‘Moto Edge 50 Pro 5g and the Nothing 2 5g” in real life and I have excellent experience in real life uses, both have excellent hardware specifications.
I have done many research use it many days and now I am giving perfect comparison between Moto Edge 50 pro 5g and nothing 2 5g and my hands on experience to see which one perform better.
Display Performance
- Moto has 6.7 inch, 1.5K, 144HZ curved pOLED display. HDR10+ support and Pantone Validated true color support.
- Nothing 2 has 6.7 inch Flexible LTPO AMOLED flat Display. Also HDR10+ support.
- Nothing 2 LTPO display control its refresh rate, gives flexible refresh rate to save battery.
- It’s your personal choice whether you like curve of flat.
- Personally I prefer flat display because its screen guard easy to find and also display cost is low.
Brightness:
- The Edge 50 Pro supports 2000 nits peak brightness while Nothing 2 has 1600 (generally 1000 outdoor brightness).
- Moto looks brighter in outdoor compare to Phone 2.
Color Accuracy:
- Moto’s Pantone validated display gives very accurate colors, good skins color, also works on camera photos.
- But the Nothing 2 also gives natural and similar color as I see.
- Both doesn’t support of HDR video on Netflix.

It comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, making it slightly more powerful on paper. heavy games like BGMI, Free Fire, Genshin Impact all can play with ease and smooth.
Moto Edge 50 Pro:
It has Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It also gives the best performance. The Edge 50 Pro actually handled BGMI with all higher setting of HDR as well with higher Frame rate of (Extreme) 60fps and also Genshin Impact runs smoothly, which was surprising.
Benchmarks:
The Nothing 2 has higher Antutu scores because of higher processor, GPU and UFS 3.1 given in Nothing 2 5g.
Storage:
Edge 50 pro comes with UFS 2.2 while The Nothing 2 wins with faster UFS 3.1 storage, making apps and the phone feel snappier.

- It will receive 3 android update and 4 security updates.

- Moto Edge 50 Pro is Lighter in weight 186g, more comfortable for one handed use, leather use in back side and importantly offers IP68 water and dust resistance protection.

- while Moto Edge 50 Pro 5g current price is 30,999 and after applying all offer you can get it at 26,599 rupees.
- There is huge difference is price but Motorola gives the similar performance and feel.
