Every smartphone gives different performance in real life. In this blog, I’m sharing gaming performance of OnePlus Nord CE 4 after using it for a few days, do heavy task, played BGMI, PUBG and share thoughts. OnePlus Nord CE 4 comes with top level specification under Rs 30,000 range in India.
Hardware Review as per Gaming Performance Requirement: –

- OnePlus Nord CE 4 has dual speaker.
- Dolby Atmos.
- Also it will help in gaming if you haven’t earphones or earbuds.
5g VoNR
- It comes with 5G VoNR, (VoNR essential for calling features. Nowadays, without VoNR, you can’t do the calls to anyone on a 5G network. If you’re using a 5G device, you may notice that whenever someone calls you, your network automatically converts to 4G. This can be frustrating, while playing games).
- So, VoNR calling features and good network coverage boost your gaming performance on OnePlus Nord CE 4.
Display
- It comes with a 120Hz AMOLED Punch-hole display. It supports HDR10+ .
- We need better graphics hardware, and Nord CE 4 have better graphic Adreno™ 720 with 394PPI.
- 240 Hz Touch sampling rate which is not the best but ok for playing BGMI.
- Can play HDR videos easily.
- OnePlus Nord CE 4 comes with IP54 rating.
Peak Brightness
- Nord CE 4 1100 nits peak brightness, providing better visibility in outdoor.
- We can play games and do other things at outdoors easily.
- So 1100 Peak brightness will help to give better visibility and enhance your OnePlus Nord CE 4 gaming performance.
Weight
- OnePlus Nord CE 4 weighs under 200g. Honestly, gamers don’t like smartphones that weigh more than 200g, as it is lighter side, playing games are easy.
- As when I was playing for one hour I didn’t t feel any pain in my hand.
- In terms of weight, I can say that during gaming, it will enhance your gaming performance
Processor of OnePlus Nord CE 4
- From above picture, It is easy to understand the performance of Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with OnePlus Nord CE4.
- Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 with POCO F5 was giving best performance in 2023.
- OnePlus Nord CE 4 have upgrade of 7 Gen 2 and it works really fast.
- It also score higher than Dimensity 7200 which is comes Vivo T3 and Nothing Phone 2a.
- Saves more battery, so you can play games or doing lots of things at once, the Nord CE 4 handles it and perform well.
BGMI Settings
- Above Picture is given to understand easily how fast and smooth BGMI (PUBG) runs on OnePlus Nord CE 4.
- Gyroscope works good and enhance the performance of nord CE 4.
- Due to 240 Touch sampling rate, gives good response (firing in game).
- I have played for one hour with smooth + Extreme setting and does not feel any lag, and heating issue.
- Erangel, Sanhok, livik I have played and it maintain 60FPS. sometime it drops to 55 but again it maintain 60FPS.
- After 1 hrs. battery drop is 15% to 16% which is good.
- No heat with highest settings.
RAM – LPDDR4X
- OnePlus Nord CE 4 has LPDDR4X RAM, which is quite good, it work fast during heavy use, app opening, background app opening , User Interface and much more.
- This Expandable RAM helpful to play normal to heavy games easily with lower settings.
Storage – UFS 3.1
- OnePlus Nord CE 4 has UFS 3.1 Storage this is great.
- So file transfer, copy paste, also downloading and taking files from other devices through nearby share works ultra fast.
- Oneplus Nord CE 4 has higher read write speed compare to Dimensity 7200, i.e. Vivo T3 and noting phone 2a.
Hardware Scores for OnePlus Nord CE 4 gaming performance –

- Geekbench Single core score 1,172
- Geekbench Multi core score 3069
- No throttling issues 3,350
- This is nice score for playing BGMI,PUBG at 60FPS setting.
- Can Play BGMI with 90 FPS on OnePlus Nord CE 4 but little bit frame drop issue.
- Nord CE 4 Works good for moderate to heavy games like Genshin Impact without lag.

- Battery has major role for every gamers.
- It Gives 4hrs to 5hrs non-stop game play and heavy task.
- Normal day to day life can stand one day easily.
- 100W fast charging support.
- It charges from 0% to 100% under 25 minutes, this is really good.

- If you’re a gamer and want a gaming mobile phone under Rs 25,000 of a reputed brand, this is the right choice, this is for you. OnePlus Nord CE 4 clearly better choice over Vivo T3 and Nothing Phone 2a in gaming performance. It has better graphics, better processor, good display, better storage type and all over gives better Gaming performance.
