1. Same Same but Different Name- No OS update on Poco F6

In the Poco F6 or F series, the HypeOS that is provided is undoubtedly a good operating system. However, it does not include all the features of Xiaomi devices. The OS that comes with the Poco F6 is the same MIUI, with just a few minor features added that won’t make much of a difference, and users have become bored using it. I have the Poco F5, and it received HyperOS in a year in the name of an OS update. You will only receive security updates, not OS updates.

2. Device Performance – Lowered before new Poco F series

I am currently using Poco F5, and after some updates, the device’s performance has deteriorated significantly. It takes time to open apps, and often the refresh rate drops to 60Hz without any heating issues these thing change your buying option.

3. Poco F6 UI Smoothness- Lags Sometime

The UI smoothness of this device seems to be less than Realme, even though the specs are the same, with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the reality is different.

4. Always On Display – Available on Poco But..

In Poco, there is an always-on display, but it only stays on for 5 seconds and then the screen turns off. There is no setting to adjust this, so whenever you want to check the time, you have to turn on the screen. Whereas in operating systems like Realme and Samsung, there is always an always-on display showing the time. Consider this before purchasing because these features makes it new generation phone.

5. No Screen on feature without tapping button

One more special thing in Realme OS is that when you pick up your phone or even if the phone moves slightly, the screen-on feature is activated, but in devices with HyperOS like Poco F6, this feature is not available, maybe this sensor was not included, consider it before purchasing.

6. Brightness during Face Unlock – Not available

This issue of low light face unlock problems exists in all Android mobile phones, and the Poco F6 is no exception. However, some brands use screen brightness to recognize faces, enabling the device to unlock, like Realme so think before purchasing.

When compared to Realme, the Poco F6 does not have the screen brightness feature, which is why the device does not unlock through face recognition in low light.

With Realme’s new device, as soon as you pick it up and bring it close to your face, in low light, the screen brightens, and your device unlocks immediately.

7. Desync issues with Poco F6 – BGMI issue

Desync is a thing that bothers every gamer. I have encountered this Desync issue on Poco F5, and similarly, I have seen it on Poco F6 as well. To fix this, you can check out the Desync fix blog.

This is an Important thing because if you ara a gamer then you can be frustrated with this issue, so think before purchasing poco F6.

8. Camera Performance

I didn’t find anything special about the camera on Poco F6, although this phone is not aimed at the camera. Its dynamic range is lower than average. You don’t get the option for HDR always on; you have to turn it on every time. It also struggles with HDR photos, sometimes washing out the entire background.

9. Gallery Image to Text Not available

With Xiaomi’s HyperOS, it’s different on Poco. In Xiaomi devices that are higher in value, you get the option for Image to Text copy, whereas in Poco F6’s OS, this option is not available.

This feature is very important now days consider it and then purchase.

10. Engineering Mode – A Good Feature

HyperOS’s most special feature, according to me, is that through Engineering mode, you can always use the 5G option, which you won’t find in Realme. This feature is very useful for those who live in places where the network frequently switches between 5G and 4G or where only 4G network is available indoors.
